Autumn Crittendon’s loved ones are opening up about their grief.
Days after the 16 & Pregnant star’s death at 27, her mother-in-law Tiffany Oxley shared a statement on social media detailing her loss.
“I miss you,” Tiffany wrote in a July 23 Facebook post. “God has gained an angel way too soon. I love you.”
Tiffany’s statement also comes shortly after the Teen Mom franchise shared a statement memorializing Autumn, who starred on 16 & Pregnant alongside her ex boyfriend Dustin Franklin in 2014.
“We are deeply saddened to learn about the passing of Autumn Crittendon,” the Teen Mom account wrote on X, formerly Twitter, July 23. “Our hearts go out to her family and friends during this difficult time.”
Autumn—who was mom to son Drake, 10, whom she shared with Dustin, as well as two younger children—was found unresponsive in her Henrico County, Virginia, home on the afternoon of July 20.
“Once on scene, officers and fire personnel located an adult female unresponsive within the residence,” the Henrico County Police Division said in a statement to E! News. “Members from Henrico Fire attempted life-saving measures however they were not effective. Autumn Oxley, 27, of Henrico, was pronounced deceased at the scene. Henrico Police are currently classifying this incident as a death investigation. Detectives are working with the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner on this case to determine the exact cause and manner of death.”
Autumn’s sister Misty Crittendon also shared a lengthy, since-deleted statement on Facebook following her sister’s death, referring to her as “dearest baby sister.”
“You were robbed of life at such a tender age,” Misty wrote in a July 21 post, per multiple outlets, adding that she will look after her sister’s three children. “I promise you I will love life in your honor. These babies will always know how much you love them, how amazing you are, how special you are, how much you sacrificed and overcame for them, everything and nothing short of it.”
